The Junction Dining Table from Muse and Merchant provides a bold backdrop for creative entertaining. We paired a black ironwork base with a solid live edge top. This truly creates a dining table with an authentic industrial character. The X base and nut-and-bolt details complete the look.

The Finishing Process

Each piece features a specialized multi-layer finish:

Several rounds of sanding and cleaning.
Application of stain (such as Wash Walnut).
Drying and sanding with highly fine sandpaper, followed by cleaning.
Spraying two coats of sealer to lock in the stain and close the wood pores.
Drying and superfine sanding.
A final top layer of Polyurethane for longevity and protection against stains.

Home Maintenance

Recommended: Apply natural beeswax every few months and wipe with a very smooth cotton cloth.
Not Needed: Do not use oil or other special polishes.
